EDAC Engineering Limited (EDAC) is a joint venture construction company promoted by Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation (SPIC) Chennai and EDAC Universe Pte Limited (EDAC), Singapore. The company has executed several prestigious projects in India and abroad in Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical and Chemical sectors. EDAC has extended its construction business in overseas by executing projects in U.A.E, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Algeria, Yemen, Singapore, Malaysia, Curacao (the Netherlands Antilles).

EDAC has established a local company, GULF SPIC Engineering L.L.C under the U.A.E. regulation in Dubai for undertaking projects in U.A.E and other Middle East Countries. EDAC is an ISO 9001: 2008 certified company accredited under RvA scheme by DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV), The Netherlands.

Edac Engineering Limited since inception in 1987, with JV between Jurong Engineering Limited, Singapore and SPIC Limited was known as SPIC JEL Engineering Construction Limited till 2007.
